Designed by the legendary Gérald Genta at just 23 years old, the Polerouter is a landmark timepiece and Genta’s first major design. Introduced in 1954, it was created for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) pilots who navigated the challenging route from Europe to America over the North Pole, requiring a robust water-resistant, anti-shock, and anti-magnetic timepiece.
